Averaging 25 miles per Imperial gallon, which is about 21 mpg US. On long runs with some motorway cruise at 80, 30 mpg is quite possible = 25 mpg US. I do have relatively fat sticky tyres which may hurt a little.
Don't you hate it when people post saying they get 750 miles on a tank - I do drive hard sometimes but when cruising in top with both feet on the dash, what can you do?
European-directive tests for my car forecast 24.1 average for "combined" urban & extra-urban, which would be 20.1 in US gallons. You probably have different tests but we are probably not untypical. For comparison, a manual the same year is expected to do 29.1 "combined" = 24.25 US.
1997 2.3 fpt Anniversary automatic, 94k miles, 205/55-16 Bridgestone S-03s less than half worn.
