matt, what i would do is remove the rad.give yourself a fighting chance.with the rad. out and on a bench-drill a hole in the plug-spray wd-40 around plug and use a easy-out to remove the rest of the plug.get a new plug and rubber 'o'ring from saab.use silicone grease on the ring. reinstall the mess.use saab/gm longlife 5yr.-50,000 mile anti-freeze. while your at it be sure to check all hoses.how long since a thermostat?--burt.
