Hi Clive,
I had the same problem a few years ago,Clive, what happened was that the upper engine mount bushings were so worn that it let the engine rock back and forth until the water hose to the radiator caused the plastic pipe to fracture behind the metal support. I tried to seal the micro leak with all sort of product such as "bars leak" without success,the crack was getting
bigger as time went by. Eventually the radiator pipe gave way and I was forced to renew the whole radiator including the top engine mount bushings to prevent ot from happening again.
