Need to pull mine apart and see what's going on. Any springs or small parts gonna jump out at me?

Same thing is happening to mine. Car drives perfectly under normal conditions, but when I lay into it and get the boost high, sparks fly out of my tailpipe and the car shuts down. Will start up again after a few minutes and drives perfectly afterwards. CEL comes on, and my indie told me that the code relates to a bad DI.

This DI is fairly new (bought it used with only 30K miles on it--stamped date code and car's odo proved this). Had to replace my original one at 90K due to leaking fluid.

Could this have anything to do with a Stage 3 set up (BSR ECU) from the higher boost pressures (20+ psi)?
