Hello everyone,
I got a lot of good advice pertaining to repairing the shock tower rust on my Aero. Over the past 2 days I've done most of the work, with only a bit more left to go. I still need to fill in the hole, but that will be done tomorrow. What I've done thus far is used 14 gauge steel to make 2 brackets (one upper, one lower), ground the remaining rust out, used a rust stabilizing finish, welded the brackets in, and topped everything off with a coat of flat black rust prevention paint. Here's a link to the album which shows the progress Once the hole is filled the job will be complete. Thanks for all the great advice!
