Car is a 95 CSE turbo automatic. I have a 95CSE parts car with a good tranny. Today I removed the good tranny from the parts car. I had done this once before on an 88 turbo and it was quite different. I would say the 88 was much easier. Dropping the subframe was all the same. I removed the intake manifold to get easy access to the starter and the flywheel bolts. Getting the intake off was a pain in the butt. Can you get at the starter without pulling the intake manifold? I pulled it because I didn't realize the upper starter bolt is actually one of the tranny bolts which I had easy access to. I don't mind the work but I am not sure I would remember how to put it back together. It would also require a new intake gasket and effort to clean off the old gasket. Can anyone offer some pointers on how to go about this? Thanks
