It is the starter drive [bendix].I had my starter rebuilt at 126k and it lasted till 180k.The same problem again with the drive gear.
The first time the gear was worn due to the bushing in the nose cone.
It was GONE so it put the drive gear on a angle.
Do it now, it is harder to do when it is cold out.
Put a box wrench [6pt] on the bolt and wack it with a hammer to break them loose.It helps to remove the throttle body and the bolt holding the wire harness to the engine.
