Thanks guys for the info. Such a shame, though, because the interior is immaculate!! Whoever had this car took awesome care of it everything works (switches, windows, AC blows really cold, sunroof, stereo)- wouldn't it stand to reason that if s/he went so far to keep the interior in pristine condition, the engine got serviced regularly as well?
Don't know if it has TCS-I'm not knowledgeable about these items. The salesrep says the car has every option available for that year, so it stands to reason that it does have TCS. Is there a site I could go that would give me the build based on the VIN (which I have)?
No one has commented on the gas pedal issue...Anyone have anything on that one? Maybe it's just part of the car's character - my sister's Toyota has a stiff gas pedal, but this Saab's pedal is a first!
I visited Quasi's site and he advices that if you can get a hold of a good 9000 then it's worth the investment if you're going to find all the bad/borderline things and fix them and then keep up with the car.
