Upgrading my Stage 4 96' Aero and decided that the SPEC stage 1 may not last as long as a Stage II. I also ordered the Strut bar from G.S. I was going to order their S.S. Clutch line but I can't wait 4 weeks. I'm going to do the Aeroguy's clutch hose retrofit. I'll also do the rear main seal (I actually have the Saab special tool to do this seal) and have the flywheel resurfaced.

1) Does anyone have any pictures making the Aeroguy's hose? I have a short window to make it and I don't want to screw this up. This hose shop wanted $95 to retrofit my hose hose the Aeroquip????

2) To remove the shift linkage, why would I need to remove the taper pin? Can't I just unbolt the connector to the shifter and take the whole coupler when I drop the tranny? What is the issue with doing this?

3) To hoist the transmission down, what part of the transmission do I connect my hoist to?

4) How do you break in a SPEC clutch? I have visions of 500 miles of grandma driving.

5) Was thinking about the SAS Sway bars. Is the front sway bar easier to install with the transmission out?

6) Anything else? This will be my first time to do the clutch on the 9k. Oh, and I'll replace the trany fluid for the first time (120k miles). I'm going to use the GM standard transmission oil ( not the synthetic)
