Patent's hmmm, that's another thing. You have a point there PT. Then we may have to ask SAAB to give those wheels to the people...yeah right! LOL! I'm sure that they can find out if there would be any danger in emulating an original design that was contracted to Ronal. You still can't even buy production wheels from them in North America ....remember Cliff Quan's SPG Resurrection in the FAQ's. I still read that to this day! LOL! Anyway, what about someone using the 16 inch wheel to create the correct dimensions for a 17 x 7 or 17 x 6.5 wheel (who knows how wide the actual wheels are), set it up on a computer then CNC the wheel from a block of aluminum. Like they do in the car shows you know. What's the point of casting the wheel? Making casting dies are where the bucks will be spent, and who wants that, who will keep them? I've already sent an email to these guys and left them a voice mail to discuss. I figured that if enough of us were interested, they would want the work.
