I know Saab themselves say, in the Aero launch press releases posted on Bob Alimi's Aero site, that the Aero has bigger sway bars but I've never see this proved with actual measurements and am pretty sure it shares both front an rear bars with the CSE - would love it if someone could quote chaper & verse on this one!
If the CD has a thinner rear bar, is it something to do with the operation of the self-levelling dampers?
Personally reckon it's best to stiffen up both bars or none at all but once again, opinions vary.
