valves from the side for late model 9Ks.
Just remove the passenger wheel well trim and the black wheel well cover. Most screws should be easy to remove except for one near the bottom of the spoiler, it's one of those PITA corroded thing. You could leave that one on and just stick your hand through the opening.
I believe you have all late model 9Ks so you have both front and rear washer pumps. The rear washer has a straight through check valve (yes, it's check valve not a straight connector). The front and headlight washers share a T check valve. As pointed out by R. Frist, it's possible that one or both of the hoses may have slipped off due to age as it happened to my '95 Aero recently. I just used a couple of small cable ties and snugged the hoses back on the check valves. You can repair or buy new check valves from eEuroparts.
