Hi guys I have a 1996 Saab 9000 Aero 5spd. My car use to hold steady boost at around 15-16 psi. Then one day it started overboosting. I fixed this problem with some PB spray to the wastegate but now the car will boost to about 18 or so psi (like it used to) then drop all the way down to around 10 psi(used to stay at 15 psi). I also think there is more turbo lag but I'm not sure. I visually inspected all the vacuum lines and they appear to be fairly new with no cracks. I checked the larger ones going the BPC and they looked good. The BPC was just replaced by the previous owner. I checked the rubber couplers on the intake system. They appear to be older but still no signs of cracking. I also checked the PCV line and the one way valve(both good). Are there any other place to check for leaks? Is there a way to pressure test the system without spending too much?
