I was getting a little miss/blip on initial acceleration on my 1995 9000 Aero, so decided a fresh set of NGK's gapped at 1mm were probably due. Dropped them in about a week ago and have had persistent idle problems ever since. Pulled the DI, rechecked the gaps and connections, even switched out another good DI just to see, and the idle problem remains. IT is a weird idle issue in that it only happens after the car is fully warmed up, not when cold. I will come to a stop and the idle will "bounce" between 400 and 900 RPM in 1.5 to 2 second cycles, sometimes stalling out.Can any one give me some insight as to what this might be? I even shot a half a can of Gumount carb cleaner down into the idle control valve, and cleaned off the throttle plate....no difference.
