I had it towed to a local shop where I can pull parts off it.
1 day later I'm sore and my hands are a little sliced up from the broken glass/twisted metal but otherwise fine and back at work.
Obviously the rear trunk area is badly compressed. The spare tire is locked in place by the trunk floor being half folded over it. I had a craftsman toolbox in the trunk which exploded on impact- open-ended wrenches are being found impaled into plastic. That could have been my skull.
Thanks to everybody for the kind words and especially Yaofeng for always helping me in a bind, as I had been doing more maintenance/repair recently.
Anyway, I want another 1993-1998 9000 but I may not rush finding the right one. As some have mentioned, it does not need to be an Aero since I have most of the necessary conversion hardware. Should I salvage the entire engine/transmission setup or just the turbocharger?
Henry
