Stereo problems

I found that I have a few problems with my stereo system in my brand new 9000 CSE turbo. The first problem is that I need to enter the stereo code every single time I turn the car on. I understand that this may have something to do with a 12v line. I have a casette player/ radio tuner above and a cd player/ equalizer below. The equalizer seems to work, but the cd player starts to look at the cd, then the system switches back to radio and it spits the cd out. I don't know whether to try to repair this system or just invest in a whole new sound system from scratch. I can't tell if this is an easy thing or a near impossible thing depending on the wiring, adapters, etc.
My other disappointment is that there are no rear speakers under the covers in the back. Again, I don't know if I should try to find original speakers and replace them with those or if I should just put new speakers in there.
As always, any advice will be greatly appreciated.
