I will give a lot of details and if anyone can help me out, I would really appreciate it.
Car is a 1998 9000 CSE turbo
Started chugging, and running rough. Finally stalled. When cold it will start up and run fine for a few minutes until it gets warm. Then runs rough and stalls out. Kicked several codes as follows,
P0108 - MAP sensor
P0133 - O2 sensor
P1171 - Closed Loop Lean
P0171 - Lean
P0300 - Random Cylinder Misfire.
I tested the Map sensor, by switching another good sensor, and it did not fix the problem. I also verified this by reading the data stream from the MAP sensor, and it was within limits.
Second, swapped DI cassette. Didn't change anything.
I erased all the codes and so far its just the random misfire again.
Could a bad O2 sensor make the car not run at all?
Fuel filter just changed about 2 months ago, fuel pump I can hear running.
Any ideas?????? please help!
