Chris,
The problem is most likely the window switch pack, with carbon build up on certain of the contacts. You need to use a screwdriver to pry the switch pack out of the center console, release the wiring connector at the bottom of the switch pack, take the switch pack inside and take it apart. To disassemble the switch pack use small (jewelers) screwdrivers to pry the top portion away from the bottom portion, working your way around the circumference of the switch pack. After you separate the top and bottom halves of the switchpack, remove the copper contact switches (one by one) and clean them off with a piece of sandpaper and finish them with some electrical contact cleaner (Radio shack has this stuff). Then reassemble the whole affair.
The first time you go through this the job appear to be a bit daunting, but take your time, be patient, and you will find that this is not all that difficult of a job. Probably 30-40 minutes for a first timer.
