Ray, when I had a bad lower forward motor mount (it was actually broken), it had no affect on how the car tracked. Unfortunately I would be inclined to think you did not get the intermediate shaft job done quite right, since this is instrumental in minimizing torque steer, which is probably what you are seeing. '93 CSET 5 spd 279K.
