The oil pressure relief valve is not behind the crank pulley. It is on the front lower edge of the timing cover.
To loosen the crank bolt, I think you can use the starter to do it. Search the archive. If your car is 5 speed you'll have other option available to you. A quick jab with the air impact does also but you need the air compressor and tools.
