One of the "classic" signs of a crank sensor going is when you crank the car, the tach needle doesn't "bounce" or move at all. This happened on mine after an oil change for some reason. Drove it up on the racks, after I was done, no start. Just like that. No tach bounce and when I put in a used CPS on the next start the tach "bounced" and it fired right up.
