I'm pretty sure it's the turbo. I felt the downpipe flange once everything cooled and there was lots oil under there (oil looked new just like what i put in). Plus, there is no coolant loss at all which rules out burning coolant. I'm going to make a follow-up post now that I'm certain this isn't a minor problem.
