Removing trans top or Bottom? Posted by Rob [Email] (#1828) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Rob) on Mon, 19 Jul 2010 06:45:48 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Well I have an annoying issue. After installing a new engine in my aero with new clutch pressure plate slave and master cylinders, I have a problem.
My clutch pedal is returning slowly or hanging between shifts. I have tried everything, including the master, different pedal assembly and so on. I now believe the problem may be the Scantech slave cylinder I installed, which means I need to pull the trans to replace it with a Saab factory unit.
So is it easier to remove the trans out the top with engine hoist? Or drop it out the bottom? Are there any good write ups on the procedure?
