backing up. I did not understand why backing-up w/ the dolly would be any different until I tried it. The dolly has TWO pivot points: receiver ball and under the car between the dolly wheels. Makes it very difficult to place the car where you intend. This is with many years of towing experience. The ball pivots one way and the dolly the other way. You can countersteer, but it really fights you. Backing-up is possible, but much more difficult than your standard one-pivot-point ball or 5th-wheel. Just an FYI.
