Just did this job on my 94 Aero that had 205k miles on it. Not a a bad job be VERY careful when removing the head and re-installing the head not to break the fragile plastic chain guides, rails.
Ok the timing chain will involve a lot more work, my chain was fine.
I did a complete machine shop rebuild on head Serdi multi angle valve job
cost was $250 including pressure check and surface head.
I bought new head gasket set, exhaust stud hardware kit, new head bolts, thermostat and coolant.
Be Patient take your time, TDC motor first line up cams I painted white marks on gear to chain so I would know it went back exactly as it cam off.
You will need a E-15 torx socket, other than that basic mechanics hand tools and torque wrench.
