Not to be a dick about it, but when discussing fuel injection, input for the oxygen sensor is the definition of closed loop. For example, under wide open throttle (or close to it) the computer switches to fixed fuel maps as the narrow band oxygen sensor can't read rich enough to be useful. This is the classic open loop situation, though by your definition it is would still be closed loop as the computer is still using other sensors.
I don't know enough about T5 to be certain about this, but many fuel injection systems operate at idle without input from the oxygen sense (at least part of the time, often all the time), which is considered open loop.
