Had an indy replace a cracked flex plate that was making noise. When he took it out the torque converter was groved from the flex plate striking it and he put a reconditioned one in. He also replace both axles, seal and transmission mount on the way out. He told me that the sway bar link was broken when he looked the car over and the link needed replacing but I could drive it until the part came in. When driving home I noticed some vibration after 35 mph...called him on the drive and he said it wasn't the axle but probably sway bar. Next morning was puddle of trans fluid in driveway about 10 inches in diameter. Put car on driveup ramps and fluid was leaking out at the drivers side axle area either above it or from it..couldn't really tell.

Is it safe to drive with a broken sway bar link?

What should I be looking for as far as the link goes.
