If that's true, then I've got another mystery, as I drove an NG900 dry one time and it took almost 69L to fill (spec'd at 68L). In fact, I've quite often filled cars of varying makes to within 1L of the specified tank size without having run out of fuel. I know I've put in more than 49L into my wife's 2005 Civic, which is specified to hold 50L. The amount of useable fuel storage is a more useful spec, so it seems logical that's the spec they'd provide.
