Simple, but... Posted by vtsnaab [Email] (#26) [Profile/Gallery] (more from vtsnaab) on Thu, 9 Feb 2012 13:08:02 In Reply to: Re: Thanks TML !!!, TML [Profile/Gallery] , Thu, 9 Feb 2012 12:54:36 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
When one considers the number of bulbs/connections - I am sorry to say there MUST be one, central method to defeat this annoying 'feature' from all, or just front & rear separately.
The obvious thing occuring to me is that something monitors this, then lights the 'front out' and/or 'rear out' indicator(s), so it should be as simple as locating the incoming signal someplace and dummying that up...?
Someone said this 'feature' (for the front) is built right into the main lighting relay; then wouldn't there be a single wire someplace which could be dealt with somehow ?
The same for the rear should also apply - remove/replace the signal and presto!, no more annoyance.
But that's just how I think, and I am no Saab engineer that's for sure !!!
Best Wishes.
