Rear window won't go up

TML,
derf, (Fred) has correctly diagnosed the problem as most likely a failed switch. However, before removing the door panel, try pressing the window switch on the door itself to raise the window. If you remove the switch and not the door panel, you can of the four wires has power when the Master DOWN switch is pressed. That very wire will change to GROUND (earth) when the Master UP switch is pressed. The motor is operational as verified by the DOWN function.
Finally, before replacing the Master switch, search the archives for information how to remove, disassemble, clean the copper contacts, reassemble, refit, and test it. Time consuming, but likely more cost effective than purchasing a replacement.
