My 2 cents: My guess is that the problems are unrelated to each other. For the check radiator light inspect the sensor and it's wiring underneath the expansion tank. For the CEL light it's possible that your dying fuel pump caused a poor running condition that triggered the CEL. Step 1. Disconnect the battery for 30 minutes or so and reconnect and see if it goes away. Step 2, assuming the CEL light remains, follow the procedure from the link below to get learn the cause of the CEL.
