Thanks for that bit of info, RTSDan. It's kind of nice to hear that I could still find a water-drain issue in the evaporator housing. I will look for that drain nipple. I figure I'm going to have to remove the blower motor to inspect/replace it anyway. I still suspect a water-drain related cause of the problem. I frequently hear some kind of girgling noise during the times when AC is being used. Also, when I am backing out of my driveway I have regularly noticed a small streak of water being deposited on the asphault. This leads me to believe that there is a drainage problem somewhere (Does not appear to be coming from the large rubber flap in the lower portion of the aquarium). In 2008 I replaced the heater core and fan motor. That was 28,000 miles ago. At that time I am sure that I cleaned the entire aquarium and drainage areas. However, I do not recall examining the evap housing drain nipple. As I proceed, I intend to post my findings for others who may have this same issue in the future. Thanks to all who have contributed to help solve my car's AC trouble. It's HOT here in Connecticut!
