Don't you hate it when documentation doesn't agree with itself? You quoted page 37 of rev. 1.23 accurately. Now go read what it says about Stage 3 at the top of page 141. There the "minimum requirement" is 3" turbo back. Take your pick. I pick 3". Stove pipe, drain pipe, big bubba pipe, it's all good on the exhaust side of a turbo provided you don't overkill by so wide a margin that exhaust velocity is lost before the tail pipe.
I agree the resonator is about as useful as an O2 sensor on a refrigerator. Mine will soon go the way of all useless things.
