How I spent my weekend stories.. I Love 'em :-)
I'm Envious.. A lift would be great. Sadly No room in my garage as I would have to displace a couple of Motorcycles and their associate paraphenalia.
Have long heard of the Ferodo ds 2500's. Only Ferodo's I have are competition Clutch frictions fitted in one Moto... and those do work well.
Given I could slip the previously fitted EBC 'Racing' frictions at will.
What differences in braking over say Metalmasters?? Bit early to ask perhaps? As decent break in won't be for ~500 miles, I assume.
Front Seal does fit into pump cover casting. Easy to replace and too cheap not to. Front seal leaks make a big mess.. quickly.
Never had a rear brake vibration, on any car I've owned. Lucky?.. dunno. Have had a 9000 right rear seize in action though, a Red Hot smoky mess. Rebuild the calipers Yourself ? Rebuild kit only has a few rubber bits, for exhorbitant price, but hand brake mechanisms benefit hugely from careful attention and cleanup. Discs basically warp from overheat events.
Have recently Retired.. but honestly, I'm now discovering Many other things to spend my time on, rather than my pore old Car :-)
