Some tires exhibit an effect called "tramlining", where they follow the surface peculiarities of the road similar to what happens when you drive on a street with tram rails. This effect can be more pronounced in wider "performance" type tires. Several years ago I had some Avon summer tires on my car and they had awful tramlining; "fortunately" the tires (on Aero wheels) got stolen out of my garage, probably for the aluminum scrap value. In any case, the replacement tires did not do this.
What tires did you buy?
