Front end clunk when accelerating or decelerating Posted by AdamB [Email] (#3) [Profile/Gallery] (more from AdamB) on Mon, 4 Mar 2013 04:06:09 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
For about a year I've suspected that the inner drivers were worn because of vibration when accelerating, especially when the car was more loaded down, but have put off getting it fixed, until I was ready to replace the trans with my quaife equipped 5spd from my old car.
However it's now started to make a slight clunk/click after engaging every gear as well as just accelerating or decelerating.
I'm thinking that it's either play in the inner driver joints or just motor mounts? Any other issues I should be looking for?
