All depending on what you can find that hose with sensor hole for, if it was my car, I would probably just bypass the wires for the A/C compressor and use a regular hose.
That sensor is a last resort cut off for compressor if the temperature of the coolant gets so high that shutting off the compressor would help cool down the engine somewhat.
Like on the way to Vegas at some of the long uphills where it says to shut off the A/C to help against over heating.
The full retail price for the sensor hole hose is $124.00 and the price for the one without is $24.00
So unless you have some serious heat and overheat problems, that sensor will probably never kick in.
And yes, you just unscrew and screw it in and hopefully the fiber gasket is still useful.
