if the diaphragm in the valve is punctured, although its a pretty small line, so it shouldn't affect idle much.
There should be 2 vacuum ports on the back of the top of the intake - one should be capped, the other one has a line to a Y - one leg goes thru the false firewall to the boost gauge, the other to the hooter valve.
