Isn’t great when we find out about some simple little trick that someone though of and as a result we benefit greatly, effectively saving us lots of time in the trial and error department. I wonder how many little tricks the Saab community has invented over the years.



For example:

How one can rebuild the deteriorated rubber diaphragm in the windshield washer valves with little bits of latex gloves



How one can compress a new clutch pressure plate with the old throw-out barring and the Saab car jack using the weigh of the car.



How one can use engine oil cooler rubber line which have been cut into pieces to fit onto hose clamps to replace ripped exhaust rubber hangers. (Provides acceptable amount of vibration damping with superior durability to plain rubber.
