Vibration - Inner Driver? Posted by cgwiz [Email] (#1128) [Profile/Gallery] (more from cgwiz) on Thu, 13 Jun 2013 12:54:05 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
'98 CSE, automatic. 200,000 miles. I have what I am reading here as the typical vibration issue for worn inner drivers, most noticable when under load. No noticable difference when going around corners. However, I do have one thing to add that I haven't read about. When under acceleration, if I happen to go down a hill, hit the bottom, and start back up, thereby loading the suspension, the vibration is definitely more pronounced. I have also noticed it when I have several passengers as opposed to being by myself - when the suspension is under load, the vibration is more pronounced. Does this still point to inner drivers, or is there something else I should be checking? This is my daily driver, so I don't want to pull her apart until I have to. Should have a 2nd car available any day now ('93 900s), so at that point I'll have a little more freedom to putter.
