My guess is that your evaporator may be freezing over, blocking the air flow. This occurs when the anti-frost switch (prevents the freeze-over by disconnecting the compressor at a low enough temp) is either not working correctly or its sensor is not in the right place - I had this issue on my C900. Someone here said that this switch is adjustable on 9000s, but I have never tried it.
