The motor does not appear to move any more than it should or did previously. I used a bottle jack under the front motor mount to see if I could separate it. It did not. You can see that the tranny mount is good. The clunk is pretty harsh and actually occurs after the car starts to move backward. It seems like some kind of "slop" has developed in the drive train. Moving forward loads it up one way. Then reversing direction results in a "slip" bfore something fully engages. The weird thing is that it occurs after the clutch partially engages. Otherwise I would suspect the clutch. Still not ruling that out though.
