Any tips for removing stuck rotors?

Hi everyone,
Time for new brakes on my el-cheapo Aero. Doing rotors and pads at all four corners -- or at least that's the plan.
Got the caliper off the front left, removed carrier, removed the set screw and alignment pin, but rotor wouldn't budge. Whanged on it pretty thoroughly, but decided to stop there rather than render the car undrivable.
After soliciting a quote for the brake job from a trusted Saab indy in the area, who would not use my parts, and wants too much for the work, I did a little YooToob research and saw a few ideas.
1. Heat the rotor with a torch and smack it off. Can't do this as I don't have a welding torch, and I don't think a propane plumbing torch will do the job?? Plus some people fear for the health of the wheel bearing. I've had it done on a previous 9000 and don't believe I suffered any bearing issues.
2. Insert bolts into the carrier bolt holes -- not the carrier bolts themselves, but smaller ones, and using washers and nuts, use the bolts to press the rotor off the hub. This is my leading candidate right now, but would I risk breaking the carrier bolt hole ears off the steering spindle? They do look plenty stout.
3. (I'll try this first) Loosen the lug bolts, go out to driveway, get some decent speed up, turn wheel, and slam on brakes. Repeat as necessary to break rotors free. I suspect the rotors are bonded tightly enough this trick won't work.
Any other ideas?
