On my 93 CSE sometimes the clutch pedal switch plunger doesn't come out far enough to hit the clutch pedal so cruise doesn't work, the plunger is adjustable. I've tried to pull plunger out while switch is still installed but have not been able to until I remove it from the bracket. This morning my cruise didn't work, but this afternoon it did so may be close to having to pull plunger out again. My cruise light does come on when I hit the switch on the stalk. Never had a problem with the brake cruise switch.
