Yup, pulls right up and out. Not much force required, and you want to be aware that the nipples the hoses are clamped to may be a bit brittle and subject to cracking. Which might be the cause of your leak.
On the other hand, plenty of times it's just that the hose clamps are loose and a decent tightening will do the trick.
If you're not losing a ton of fluid, why, that's just the factory rustproofing at work. Never seen a 9000 that didn't have fluid schmutz on the inner fender liner. If you're not seeing drops on the ground there might be an argument in favor of leaving things be. Overtightening the clamps might lead to worse leaks, after all, if you crack the nipples in the process.
