There are actually four coolant hoses that attach to the engine; two to the radiator ("radiator hoses") and two to the heater core ("heater hoses"). If it's the big hose that runs between the engine and the upper corner of the radiator, it's a very easy replacement job. On the other hand, the radiator itself may have a crack in it - it's made of plastic that gets brittle over time.
