You do not want to get aftermarket axle shaft assemblies for your car.
I just went through this nightmare. If you dispose of your original saab shafts instead of rebuilding them you will never be able to find the right length shafts again most likely. EMPI and the other rebuilders do not measure the shafts to make sure they are the right length. I just got one that was way too long so it binded up, others have gotten ones that are too short and they have pulled out of the inner cup when their suspension had travel on the road and the damage was catastrophic. EMPI also regrinds the shafts so they will be able to be used with other cars -- not good for you.
Rebuilding these shafts is simple - all you need is a rebuild kit with new grease, bands, boots and tripod bearings (most just need new boots) and a good pair of snap ring pliers and some gloves. These kits are very cheap.
If ANYONE still has their original saab axle shafts from a 1995 9000 CSE turbo 5-spd I would love to buy them off of them so I can rebuild them. Just make sure they don't say EMPI on them.
A whole lot of drivetrain wobble issues can be traced to EMPI driveshafts being used to replace saab shafts that just needed rebuilt.
