I just swapped in the "known to work" ignition switch in from my '97, still the same symptoms: the Check Engine light turns off after a few seconds and no start. (Also the switch from the '95 is now in the '97 and it works fine.)
Thanks for the info on the switched 12v pin. If that's getting full voltage I'll have to figure that the ECU is the problem. As far as I know the only way to test that is to swap in another. I checked the auction site and there are some '95 ECUs coming up, but they are part #4301909, mine is #4301917. Don't know what the difference is. (Low vs. full pressure turbo?)
Update: I just checked the connector and pin 60 on this has a green/white wire. The '97 wiring diagram shows this wire going to pin 22 of the anti-theft alarm control module. (I don't see a yellow/gray wire, though there are yellow, yellow/red, and yellow/white wires.)
So I'm still not sure where to test for switched voltage...
