Suppose some moron (ME) doesn't check the oil in his 5 speed manual and runs it dry. Eventually, the car stopped. I can start it with the clutch depressed but as soon as I release it the car dies without even trying to move in any direction. This occurs even in neutral. I have added oil hoping for a miracle but so far no go. Does anyone have any magic to save my butt? If the car was a beater I would just offer it on the Free Classifieds but it is a 94 convertible in beautiful condition. I just can't believe I made such a bonehead mistake. I do know better. Any and all ideas appreciated.
