anti lock light on=poor performance - Saabnet.com Bulletin Board
I have a strange issue non my 93 Aero/auto. This winter the anti lock light started coming on intermittently. When it would the engine would run noticeably poorer with stumbling/choking off the line from a stop. when the light went out the car would run fine again.
At first I thought it was just a bad tank of gas and just coincidental that it happened at the same time I started having problems with brake sensor, but the performance problem only happened when the light came on and now it's on all the time.
It's a 4th car so I haven't gotten around to testing the antilock sensors, but I can't believe the sensors are related in any way to the performance issue.
Anyone have anything I can look at or hear of this before. I tried searching months ago but everything I found was vague.
